Sofia Vergara is completely clear about what she wants in her next relationship – or, more importantly, what she doesn’t want.
Almost a year after her and her ex-husband Joe Manganiello announced their separation in July 2023 after seven years of marriage Modern family Single and social, Star looks for certain qualities in her next special someone.
“Health. Money. Fun. With children,” she says People as the face of the magazine’s The Beautiful Issue. “That’s it. This is all I want.”
Given the reason for her divorce from Manganiello – she has cited his desire to have children as the cause – the actress’ “deal-breaker” is very fitting. As she puts it: “No more kids.”
“I was already a mother. I know what it means to be a good mother or try to be the best mother you can, and that requires a lot of sacrifice and a lot of energy,” she tells the magazine about Manganiello’s problem with the children.
The 51-year-old actress added: “I absolutely respect if someone wants to be a mother after 50. Because of my career, the way I live my life, the way my marriage was, I didn’t think it was fair to bring a child into the world and I won’t be able to be to give 100 percent.”
While Griselda Star, who recently became mother to her 32-year-old son Manolo confessed her love for the orthopedist Dr. Justin SalimanShe makes it clear that she doesn’t mind meeting someone in Hollywood again.
“I mean, it’s hard for a 50-year-old woman to find someone,” she says People. “I’m not going to be picky and say, ‘Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut.’”
However, it seems that she has already found a doctor. Although she only says “maybe” when asked if she’s dating anyone, a source previously told ET that she and Saliman “like each other a lot.”
