Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most impressive actors of his generation who needs no introduction. However, it is his humble nature towards his co-stars and other celebrities in the industry that often makes headlines. Now, in a video, the actor spoke about his feelings after seeing Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s accident. For those unfamiliar, it was in December 2022 when Rishabh was rescued from a car wreck in a serious car accident. His knee was twisted and his muscles and ligaments were torn as a result. It was indeed one of the most horrific incidents of Rishabh’s life and almost fifteen months later, he turned up for the IPL against all odds.

Now, in a recent candid conversation with Star Sports, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his feelings about Rishabh Pant’s fatal car accident. The actor mentioned that he was completely shocked after watching the video of the cricketer’s accident and the former was very worried about the latter. Recalling the incident, Shah Rukh also compared Rishabh with his son Aryan Khan as he belonged to the same age group.

Shah Rukh Khan expressed the same sentiment and mentioned that the CCTV footage of Rishabh’s accident shocked him to the core. However, the actor also mentioned that Rishabh is no less than an inspiration as he has recovered much better after the accident. Hoping that the cricketer gets well soon, he mentioned that it is just endearing that Rishabh is already back on the cricket ground. Shah Rukh added:
“I saw the video, the CCTV footage. Frightening. These boys at this age are like my sons. Rishabh himself. If an athlete gets injured, it is a double danger. I hope his knee is okay. That’s why I told him not to get up. I am happy that Rishabh is back and hope he continues to play well.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Rishabh Pant shared an emotional hug after DC’s win against KKR in the previous match
Earlier, during a match between KKR and DC in Vizag, we witnessed another gesture by Shah Rukh Khan and Rishabh Pant towards each other that won millions of hearts online. In a few pictures that surfaced online after the match on April 3, 2024, the actor was seen meeting, greeting and praising the cricketers on the field. During this time, Shah Rukh can be seen approaching Rishabh, who was sitting on the field after his post-match duties. Soon the cricketer also stood up and they hugged each other. The moment was very emotional and showed the actor acknowledging the cricketer’s incredible struggle to regain full fitness after the road accident.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen teaching cricket skills to AbRam in Eden Gardens
Recently, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan pages posted some unseen glimpses of him and his son AbRam Khan’s cricket training session at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In a video shared by the fan page, Shah Rukh looked handsome in a white t-shirt, cool sunglasses and a ponytail. He was seen teaching AbRam how to make drool-worthy catches. Even though the little boy didn’t succeed, he kept trying. Furthermore, Shah Rukh and AbRam were accompanied by the actor’s manager, Pooja Dadlani’s daughter Reyna.
