During the Tuesday, April 9th episode Watch what happens live with Andy CohenShay, 38, was asked Gleb Savchenko‘s recent comments about her dancing skills – or alleged lack thereof.
“I found that very rude and inappropriate of him. But it is what it is,” Shay said. “It’s okay, I wouldn’t want him as my partner anyway.”

“If you ever want to be there Dancing with the stars And you feel like you have enough celebrity power to be on a show, whoever it is — it’s not just Scheana or anyone else — you should start taking classes,” he continued. “People think, ‘Oh yeah, let’s just relax in the dance studio for a few hours.’ I’m going to hang out with this handsome guy who has a Russian accent and he’s going to smile.’”
However, Shay had a different version of events about her earlier dance with Savchenko.
“We shot a scene for Vanderpump Rules, which is also the first time in my life that I danced. “I never claimed to be a dancer,” she said Tuesday. “At my first partner dance he whipped me around. I actually found this video recently and thought, ‘I thought I did pretty good.'”
The reality star received backlash after she became emotional during season 11 Vanderpump Rules when Madix, 38, was offered one DWTS Slot above her to Scandovoal.
“This year I started taking dance lessons. I prepared myself in case I got it. It was definitely a punch in the gut,” she said Lisa Vanderpump during a March episode. “I’m so happy for her. But I can be happy for them and sad for myself at the same time.”

Meanwhile, Madix didn’t understand why Shay was so upset on screen.
“On the one hand, I can completely understand being happy for a friend and at the same time feeling like, ‘Oh, you really wanted this thing for yourself, too,'” Madix said that same month WWHL. “But on the other hand, I’m thinking about it, if one person from our show joined, wouldn’t it help someone else from our show join in as well?”
