Getty Images (2)Tamra Judge And Vicki Gunvalson had many ups and downs in their friendship.
The two hit it off when they first met in Season 3 of Real Housewives of Orange Countywhich aired in 2008. Judge and Gunvalson’s friendship blossomed the following year after they expressed disdain for their co-star Gretchen Rossi.
Gunvalson and Judge encounter their first friendship problem in Season 7 because of Gunvalson’s then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers. Judge was skeptical of Ayers’ intentions from the start and Gunvalson didn’t want to hear it.
After arguments broke out over Ayers, the women’s friendship was damaged. However, the duo broke their distance and reconciled while Ayers was still in the picture – but the truce didn’t last long. Gunvalson and Judge argued again about Ayers. In 2016, Judge shared that she wasn’t sure if their friendship could be saved.
“That’s exactly where I am – I’m burned. I said, “You know what, one more thing.” One more thing and I’m done. “I’m done,” she recalled as she spoke Jenny McCarthy‘S Dirty, sexy, fun SiriusXM show. “It actually hurts me because we have been friends on and off for 10 years and have been through a lot together. We’ve seen our kids get married…health issues and divorces and all that stuff, so we have a long history.”

2008
Gunvalson, who was an integral part RHOC Since premiering in 2006, she took Judge under her wing when she debuted in Season 3.
2012
The women’s relationship hit a snag after Judge expressed her dislike for Ayers. Gunvalson didn’t like that her pal wasn’t more supportive of their relationship.
“You should be my friend no matter what happens. You don’t talk to me or him like that. “You shall be my friend!” Gunvalson said in an episode of the seventh season of RHOC. “My friend, my soulmate, my sister. It means you have respect for the man I love… Everyone is always afraid of you. I am not afraid of you.”
That same season, Judge and Gunvalson got into a heated argument after Ayers claimed Judge was giving his girlfriend the “evil eye.”
2013
After a year of drama, Gunvalson and Judge buried the hatchet at Judge’s bachelor party.
2014
Although the duo were friendly, they formed a group called Tres Amigas with fellow RHOC castmate Shannon Beador. However, the truce between Judge and Gunvalson did not last long as Judge continued to speak ill of Ayers. During a group trip to Bali RHOC The cast sat down with Judge about the drama. The judge blamed Gunvalson for not getting them back.
“They sat back and did nothing this year,” Judge said. “You [sit] Go back, act nice to me, you text me all the time while we’re filming and you’ve been mean behind my back this whole time.”
Gunvalson replied, “You should be getting better, but you’re just getting bitter and bitter and bitter.”
2015
The judge was vindicated for her feelings toward Ayers after it was discovered that he had lied about his cancer.
“From day one I called him. I felt like he was a fraud. I could see it in his eyes and nothing he said made any sense,” Judge said AND! News. “He’s a charmer, but once you get to know him, after a while his stories no longer add up. In the end I stopped questioning him so much and started accepting him for Vicki. I knew if I let go he would do it to himself.”
2016
The judge revealed that Gunvalson had apologized to her for the Ayers drama, but that didn’t change how hurt she had felt at the hands of her friend over the years.
“I brought her back this year, accepted her apology — well, her half-hearted apology — forgiven the past and tried to move on, only to get burned again,” Judge said on SiriusXM Dirty, sexy, fun show. “This time she was behind my back with a machete,” she explained. “We’re having so much fun this year and I’m thinking, ‘Oh, my girlfriend’s back, she’s out of the shower, now she’s going to be like the old Vicki.’ No. Not so much.”
2017
The judge gave an update on her broken friendship with Gunvalson. “I’m not saying I don’t care [Vicki]”Because I cared about her a lot, but when you get hurt that badly, it’s just, whatever,” she said Entertainment tonight. “We go from me and Vicki not even talking, then we go to Iceland and kind of talk, and then we go to the season finale and we don’t talk anymore.”
2018
Gunvalson and Judge have finally resolved their differences and gotten along well again.
“Long story short, she came in and that was all it took,” Judge said AND. “I’m not that tough of a girl. We all mess up and we all mess up. I know it exactly. You just say you’re sorry and you mean it, and then you move on and learn from your mistake, and I’m okay with that.”
2019
Gunvalson learned in July 2019 that she had been demoted from the school RHOC Starring in Season 14. Judge shared a nice message of support for her pal.
“Omg @vickigunvalson two dunk [sic] housewives. Where do I start… the hats, the tan, the beer can and the 12 years of crazy shenanigans. I love you I hate you! I’ve been through so much with you my friend,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I said it 12 years ago and I’ll say it again #BFF (or until you piss me off again…jk). “It makes me sad that you’re sad right now. I love you so much, pinky, swear.”
2020
Both Gunvalson and Judge left RHOC. Us weekly reported at the time that Bravo offered Judge a “part-time position” but ultimately turned it down.
2022
After Judge and Gunvalson left RHOC, the two appeared on the second season of The ultimate Real Housewives girls trip together. Shortly thereafter UGT The broadcast judge returned to RHOC. Gunvalson shared that she was happy for her friend but wished she could join her.
“Of course I’m happy for her. I’d be a bad friend if I wasn’t,” Gunvalson, 60, said during an appearance on E!’s Daily Pop in August 2022. “Yes, I have FOMO [fear of missing out]. I’m like any other woman who would think like that.”
Later that year, Gunvalson admitted to Us that she was “jealous” at first. The judge was asked back in front of her. However, she calmed down when she realized Judge “wanted it more.”
2024
The judge shared that she and Gunvalson argued again about the Tres Amigas drama with Beador.
“I left Tres Amigas for the reasons you’ll probably hear on Orange County Housewives. “You know, it’s hard,” she said AND in January 2024. “It’s so twisted and has so many layers that it’s hard for me to explain it all – but I didn’t do anything to either of them.”
The following month, Judge called Gunvalson a “fucking liar” for blaming her assistant for the drama. “It’s an absolutely blatant lie,” Judge said during an appearance on The Jeff Lewis Show. “The reason I’m not joining Tres Amigas is because I caught them talking behind my back. For this reason.”
