RHOBH’s Crystal Kung Minkoff Says Intruders Broke Into Her Home

RHOBA‘S Crystal Kung Minkoff shared a frightening situation that happened when she was on a trip abroad with her family.

During her appearance on SiriusXM Jeff Lewis Live show, the reality star revealed that four burglars broke into her home two weeks ago after she revealed on social media that she was abroad. Crystal was in Japan for spring break with her husband. Rob Minkoffas well as her son Max11, and daughter Zoe8th.

“I posted [I was out of town] “They tried to break in and my house sitters, my friends, had to deal with it face to face,” Crystal, 41, explained the horrific situation on Friday, April 12, before mentioning that, thankfully, they were OK.

The Bravo star continued with her story and revealed what happened when the intruders broke in.

“They came into the house, confronted my friend and then ran away,” she revealed. “It was my girlfriend so she was very shaken. She FaceTimed me and I think she was really freaked out. I just felt so bad. It just reminded me that we still need to do more. Every time we hear a story we reinforce it and 1713059406 We will give it full throttle.”

host Jeff Lewis then asked how they got in and asked if they jumped over the gate. Crystal confirmed that this was indeed the way they had gained entry to her home and that she had since fixed this security issue.

“I’m totally into it [gated]“But we have hard work this week,” she told him, adding that she was stepping up her security. “[The intruders] found out [how to get in]which will no longer be available.”

While Crystal didn’t want to dwell too much on the frightening experience, she told Lewis, 54, that she was shocked because her friends were there at the time of the break-in. However, she discovered that even though they were in her house, they “didn’t arm it properly.”

“I actually have a lot more security than they didn’t use, but [it’s because] They were our guests…you don’t think that’s going to happen, especially being at home,” she explained.

Crystal confirmed that from raising her walls to fences to “everything,” no safety measure was off the table as Lewis began listing possible changes she would make. “We just give it our all,” she said.
