Bollywood fans know that the Nitesh Tiwari-directed film ‘Ramayana’ is one of the most awaited films as the star cast consists of a unique mix of actors from different mediums and languages. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Kannada superstar Yash as Ravana, the film is said to be a trilogy that hit theaters recently. And even before a schedule was finalized, the film sent the internet into a frenzy as photos from the sets of the epic saga were leaked.

Talking further about Ramayana, the epic saga that is expected to unfold in three different parts as it traces the different phases that Lord Rama goes through and promises to focus in detail on the massive battle between him and Ravana; The trilogy is also expected to feature an extensive ensemble cast with top-notch performers. Names of Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Deol and others are also doing the rounds for the characters of Shurpanakha and Hanuman. However, there is no confirmation of this.
