PopFlex Active Designer Introduces Taylor Swift Outfit for Travis Date

Taylor Swift wore POPFLEX Active’s best-selling sports skort in her recent “Fortnight” social media videos and designer Cassey Ho knows exactly which basics should be included in her collection.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I actually think it was the Pirouette skort [Taylor] “I wanted to decide if she would ever wear POPFLEX,” Ho, 37, said exclusively Us weekly on Friday, April 26, while promoting its partnership with the UPS Store Small Biz Challenge. “I always imagined she would go out in our Go With the Flow jumpsuit.”

She continued: “It really looks like her style [and] In fact, it’s back in stock in May. Maybe she’ll see it then, but it’s a beautiful one-piece with flowy legs, tight arms and a big square neckline [and] Empire waist. I really feel like this is the style she could date Travis [Kelce] in there and she would be so cute. Oh, and there are bags, of course!” (Swift has been dating Kelce, both 34, since summer 2023.)

Swift debuted her lavender pirouette skort in an April 19 social media video, pairing it with the brand’s matching corset bra and a fitted white shirt from Rumored. The skort is Ho’s “favorite item” in her collection and it was her “ultimate dream” to see Swift, who the designer is a huge fan of, rock it.

“I think she bought it, which is crazy because I was like, ‘How did she find out about it?’ Is she watching TikTok videos and being influenced?’” Ho said Us, I discovered that the skort was not a gift from the brand. “I have no idea, but she wore the skort in that ‘Fortnight’ video on Friday and I was in the hair bowl, getting my roots touched up and getting dyed. I was dying because this was like my ultimate dream, like the ultimate, ultimate, ultimate. There is no other artist or celebrity in the entire world that I would rather have my designs on. That is [been] an internal Swiftie goal of mine so I can’t believe this dream has come true.”

Ho’s dreams reached a new level when Swift showed off more POPFLEX pieces in a short YouTube video of hers on Thursday, April 25 Epoch tour Rehearse. In addition to dancing in the Pirouette skort and matching corset bra, Swift also wore the brand’s Twirl Skort and Criss-Cross Booty Shorts.

“That’s four elements in one video,” Ho exclaimed. “She wears it so much, I can’t believe it.”

Ho had no personal contact with Swift – aside from attending a “Secret Sessions” listening party 1989 in 2014 — but is grateful for the pop star’s support of her “bootstrap” business.

“I want Taylor to know how much of an impact she is having on me personally right now,” Ho said. “With her lyrics, she’s helping me get through my heartbreak, but then again.” [gives] I’m strengthening myself in these times when people are taking advantage of me as an entrepreneur, just like people took advantage of her and when she released her new recordings with ‘Taylor’s Version’.”

Swift notably struggled for control of her back catalog in 2019, which inspired her to re-record and re-release her previous LPs so she could own her work. Ho faced similar copyright issues and watched as fast-fashion retailers tried to imitate her pirouette skort. Ho received a patent for the design in January.

“We [just] changed the title of the Pirouette skort to Cassey’s version, something like: “That’s the real one, that’s not the imposter,” she joked Us on Friday. “It’s just like the little Swiftie things we do.”

The lavender version of the Pirouette sold out even before Swift wore it. That’s why Ho and her POPFLEX team decided to open a limited pre-order for fans who wanted to get their hands on the skirt for themselves. The new batch of Pirouette skorts will ship in July.

“This pre-order will take a few months as we have to literally weave the fabric and color match it again [the lilac] “The color is exactly the same as Taylor’s,” Ho explained. “It’s not easy because every time in the dyeing process it changes a little bit due to the heat [and] Sewing pattern. It’s really made from scratch and…we’re trying to work as quickly as possible to get the Swifties their skorts. I also want to ensure that the same quality is maintained. I never want to rush into anything.”

In addition to sewing Pirouette skorts and other POPFLEX products, Ho focuses on mentoring. She will serve as host and judge for the final phase of the UPS Store Small Biz Challenge on May 16.

“6,000 small business owners took part in the challenge and there will be three finals [in Miami]” said Ho. “I’m really excited to see who wins because besides the scholarship and the money, it’s also about the mentorship, and that’s really important.” Just the support you can get from people who really “I understand what you’re going through because it’s difficult to start a business and often a lot of people around you don’t believe in you or don’t believe it’s going to work out, so I’m really excited to be a part of it.”

She added: “Anytime it’s about entrepreneurship and being able to help young entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, like Taylor Swift literally made my wildest dreams come true, I’m all about helping young women and young entrepreneurs do that help you really take that leap. Take the risk of following what your heart wants to tell you.”
