Patrick and Brittany, both 28, posted together as they walked the red carpet TIME 100 Gala in New York City on Thursday, April 25th. The duo matched perfectly in their complementary ensembles, with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback opting for a deep plum suit, black shirt and no tie.
Brittany, on the other hand, stunned in a floor-length, high-waisted skirt and a crystal-embellished crop top that showed off her toned abs and rib tattoo. She completed the look with shiny Kwiat jewelry and wore her hair loosely pulled up, with a few curls gently framing her face.

“No hate, Patrick Mahomes is hands down the best QB in the league and has a chance to be the GOAT at the end…but Time Magazine cover? “Taylor Swift (I hate to say it) gave the Chiefs more revenue/eyeballs by taking the box seats,” one user wrote on Xearlier this month alongside the Chiefs quarterback’s Time cover story.
Patrick responded to the tweet in a Wednesday, April 24, video shared by Complex. “That’s right,” he joked. “But she was something like that Time I was named Person of the Year a few months before, so it’s really cool to be on the cover of Time.”
He continued: “It helps when your best friend and your buddy are dating the most famous woman in the world.”
Since sparking a romance with Kelce, Swift has developed a bond with Patrick and his wife. She spent most of the 2023-2024 NFL season cheering on the Chiefs alongside Brittany while learning as much as she could about football from Patrick outside the stadium.
“Even when she talks about football, when she learns it, you can see how her business spirit brings it together,” Mahomes explained in his TIME Interview. “It’s almost like she’s trying to be a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this and this?’ She asks the right questions.”
When they’re not spending time with the pop star, Patrick and Brittany spend time with their two little ones: three-year-old daughter Sterling and 16-month-old son Bronze. The couple also recently celebrated their 12th anniversary together after meeting in high school in Texas.
“Who would have thought that twelve years later we would be where we are now!” Brittany wrote earlier this month alongside a recent and a throwback photo of herself and Patrick. “This life with you🥹💕 @patrickmahomes.”
While Patrick and Brittany met as teenagers, they attended different colleges. Patrick went to Texas Tech while Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas Tyler. After ten years of dating, they tied the knot in March 2022.
“That’s when it really hit me: ‘Oh shit, he could play pro football,'” Brittany said Today in December 2020. “It was surreal to see him living his dream and watching him grow as an athlete and as a man in general was just incredible.”
When the Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl In February, Brittany gushed about her husband’s drive and talent.
“This season was special! This guy never stopped believing in his team…despite the ups and downs and all the doubters he never once doubted this team,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “He is a true leader and a team player. He continued to ask himself what he could do better to lead this team to the Super Bowl. I saw so much behind the scenes that I will forever be in awe of you as a person and a football player! You, my man, deserve this!!! I love you and am always and forever proud of you.”
Patrick, for his part, thanked his wife and accepted the Vince Lombardy Trophy after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. “This is what it means to the world [they’re here]” he said as he toasted his family of four. “Brittany is a great wife with two great children. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
