Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani turned heads as she attended the Met Gala 2024. She flaunted her glamorous style as she walked the red carpet. For those unfamiliar, Isha made her debut at the fashion event in 2017 in a Christian Dior dress, and in 2019, she turned heads in a purple Prabal Gurung ball gown. And last year, she radiated grace in a sari-inspired gown that looked ethereal.

Isha Ambani was seen at the Met Gala 2024 in a gold floral sari dress by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. Celebrating this year’s Met Gala theme ‘The Garden of Time’, the diva enlisted the help of ace stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania to steal the show at the star-studded event. The stylist shared the pictures of Isha’s look and penned a long note describing how she and Rahul created the entire look. Anaita wrote:
“Our garden of time. Isha wears a custom-made hand-embroidered couture sari dress by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. For this year’s Met Gala theme, “The Garden of Time,” Rahul and I set out to represent nature’s magnificent and lush life cycle. This custom look for Isha, which took over 10,000 hours to complete, represents sustainability by incorporating elements from Rahul’s previous collections.

Isha Ambani styles her saree with an ornate corset blouse
Isha Ambani’s look is a perfect testament to the hard work of Indian artisans as it took 10,000 hours to create. The six meters of the curtain featured delicate patterns of flowers, butterflies and dragonflies, carefully decorated using various appliqué and embroidery techniques. The outfit had Fareesha, Zardozi, NakshiAnd The fire, ornaments and French knots. She paired the surreal drape with a corset-like, heavily embellished strapless top. Anaita stated the following:
“All of these elements together carry a powerful narrative about the state of the planet and offer a message of hope and rebirth. The magnificent look was intricately hand-embroidered in Rahul Mishra’s studios in several Indian villages, supporting hundreds of local artisans and weavers.”

To complete her look, Isha Ambani opted for heavy gold accessories including traditional lotus hand bracelets (Haathpochas), parrot earrings and a floral choker designed by Viren Bhagat. Glamorous makeup, half-tied hairstyle and nude lips gave Isha’s look a certain something. Furthermore, she complemented her dress with a jade clutch featuring ancient Indian art forms Nakashi and miniature paintings by Swadesi artisans.

Isha Ambani stunned in a Prabal Gurung saris-inspired dress for the MET Gala 2023
Isha Ambani paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s legacy at the 2023 Met Gala in a black sari-inspired dress by Nepali-American designer Prabal Gurung. Crafted from crepe, the businesswoman’s outfit featured a long train and a shimmering asymmetrical trim. Isha’s stunning outfit was a show stopper, beautifully hand embellished with thousands of crystals and pearls. To complement the case, Isha opted for an embellished diamond chain choker by Lorraine Schwartz. A soft and wavy middle-parted hairstyle and minimal makeup, including a dash of shimmery silver eye makeup and glossy nude lips, accentuated her look.
