Hidden code found on the Marvel Rivals website suggests that NetEase’s hero shooter could be making its way to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
While the 6v6 multiplayer third-person shooter has only been officially confirmed as a PC game, a social media user named “Dreamz Gaming” says a hidden code shows logos for both consoles on the site’s homepage.
The headline of the April 9th X post reads: “Hidden code was found on the #MarvelRivals website that made this possible. So far only leakers have confirmed that it will be coming to consoles, now it is officially confirmed.”

But a day later, on April 10, Dreamz Gaming said, “I just checked and Marvel deleted that part from the code. That doesn’t mean they’re not working on it.”
While the authenticity of this statement cannot be guaranteed, it follows what other online leakers have said.
An X user named Miller Ross posted this in late March: “Marvel Rivals is coming to consoles. I was told this would be announced today, which obviously wasn’t the case. But it was confirmed to me by several people. I’m confident about that.”

None of these rumors have been confirmed by the team behind the upcoming hero shooter video game. Marvel Rivals is developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games.
