Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr.’s Romance ‘Lost Its Spark’

Kim Kardashianis a low-key romance with Odell Beckham Jr. is over.

“Things have never been serious between Kim and Odell, but they take a break when they see each other,” a source tells us exclusively Us weekly. “It was always easygoing, but Kim was very busy with other priorities and didn’t put in as much effort. The dynamic has lost its spark, but they are still friends.”

The insider knows she will “run into Odell in social circles,” adding that Kardashian, 43, “doesn’t want things to get awkward between the two in the future.” “They still get on well and both agreed it was best to remain friends. “Odell is preparing for pre-season training and they both knew it would never be a long-term relationship,” the source adds.

Kardashian, for her part, is “really happy with where she is right now,” the insider says Us. “She doesn’t need anything serious and likes to focus on herself and her children.”

A second insider tells Us that the couple’s relationship was “never going to be a real thing” and that they were “just having fun.” They continue, “Kim and Odell may see each other again and get together again, but they are not interested in a relationship.”

Before their split, Kardashian called herself the “biggest hopeless romantic” in a February interview on Sirius XM’s “This Life of Mine With James Corden” podcast. Noting that she has a list of qualities she looks for in a man, she explained, “I’m also not crazy enough to know that someone is going to check every single box. [I’m looking for someone who is] responsible for actions. Take responsibility, [has] I have good teeth, I can hold my own and I don’t have to babysit [them] the whole time. Just a good, sincere person who is motivated and has her own reasons in life.”

Beckham sparked rumors of dating Kim’s younger sister Khloé Kardashian back in 2016, although a source clarified this Us that the duo was “not together” at the time.
