“JoJo Siwa Says ‘Dance Mom: The Reunion’ Producers Tried to Start Drama”

JoJo Siwa thinks about the latest Dance Moms: The Reunion something special and an opening statement about some behind-the-scenes drama that took place during production.

Siwa, 20, spoke candidly about the Lifetime special in a new episode of her podcast. JoJo Siwa Now, and explained that the reunion didn’t go as she expected when she first signed up.

“There were a few times in the reunion that the producers tried to do some shady shit,” Siwa claimed, stating that she felt the producers were trying to stir up unnecessary drama between her and fellow former star Kalani Hilliker . Kendall Vertes, Chloé Lukasiak, Paige Hyland and Brooke Hyland.

“The producers wanted Chloé and I to get into it a little bit and talk about our online pursuits, and honestly, I don’t feel that way anymore,” Siwa claimed, adding that they were also told Call them Dancing mothers Stars who refused to attend the reunion — including Nia Sioux, Maddie Ziegler And Mackenzie Ziegler.

“And I thought, ‘Absolutely not.’ “I gave it full throttle,” said Siwa. “I thought to myself, ‘Not only am I putting myself in the awkward position of calling in this environment that no one has invited her to, but I’m also putting Abby in a weird position where she’s talking to people that she does.’ .’ I don’t necessarily know how to talk to them.

She also worried about how her co-stars would feel about it, explaining, “There’s real trauma there.”

“I have a good relationship with Abby. “I chose that Abby always wanted the best for me and was always hard on me because she wanted the best for me,” Siwa said. “So for me, I wanted to protect my relationship with Abby, and I wanted to protect my relationships with Brooke, Paige and Chloé.”

Ultimately, though, Siwa said she found the reunion special “so healing for all of us.” However, that doesn’t mean she thought that was the best route Dancing mothers See you again at all.

“Honestly, I thought there was a better way to do it. And I think we could still do that depending on whether people are depressed or not,” Siwa said.

As for her pitch? “Put us all in a house for a month,” Siwa suggested. “In the two days we were together there was drama… little seedy bits. Just imagine that! I think it would be so much fun.”

This interview came after a photo of the group during filming made its way to social media, getting fans excited about the reveal project. Under the photo, dozens of commenters asked and encouraged the missing members Siwa responds in the comments,

“Grateful for this day! For anyone wondering about the few people missing, everyone was invited today, but only some wanted to be here,” she wrote in December.
