In an unexpected turn of events, Jeremiah Duggar’s latest Instagram content has fans declaring the 25-year-old is “unrecognizable.”
That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it’s true that Jeremiah is sporting a new look these days.
In fact, Jer has changed his appearance so much that some fans recently confused him with his brother Jedidiah.
Yes, it’s not just “J” names that the Duggar brothers have in common – they also sport some identical facial features!

The observations about Jeremiah’s changing appearance are largely the result of a recent Instagram Story in which he and his brother John-David Duggar are seen riding tandem bikes with their wives and children.
Since Jed is rarely photographed at family gatherings, this was the first time fans had seen him in a long time.
And some commenters were shocked at his resemblance to Jed.
“They are all Jed,” one Reddit user wrote.
“These men have the same face,” another remarked.
“Jesus it’s the same face just with more hair on the left side,” chimed in a third.
We assume that if you have 18 siblings, the likelihood that you closely resemble one of them is very high.
But the fact that Jeremiah is a Jed wrestler wasn’t the only thing that got fans talking this week.
Jeremiah and Hannah welcome baby #2
As you may already know, Jed and his wife Hannah welcomed their second child at the end of February.
Therefore, some people were surprised when they saw that Hannah was already riding a bike.
“Do you ride tandem bikes? Didn’t the one on the left just have a baby? Maybe it was further back than I thought,” one commenter wrote.
“How does Jeremiah’s wife ride a bike when she just had a baby last month?” asked another.
To be fair, it’s been about six weeks since Hannah gave birth to baby number two, but it’s still surprising that she’s already back on the bike – especially since it looks like they are and drag Jer the little one through the city!
Since becoming a mother of two, Hannah has been more active on social media than usual, but her husband is still keeping a pretty low profile.
So yes, a lot has changed in Jeremiah’s life in the last few years.
But we wouldn’t go so far as to say he’s unrecognizable.
We suspect he looks a lot like one of his siblings when he grows a beard and puts on a hat or bike helmet.
But there are probably similar situations in many families.
Luckily, Jed and Jer are very close, so it’s unlikely that either of them will take the similarity comments as an insult!
