By his own admission, David Eason doesn’t always value the lives of others.
Case in the most famous point?
The former Teen Mom contestant shot his family’s dog in 2019, which sparked a Child Protective Services investigation and led to everyone thinking he was a pretty terrible person.
Eason hasn’t done much to change our minds in recent years.
Meanwhile, Jenelle Evans says she’s worried her estranged husband might move on from killing animals to killing people.
Especially herself.
In an Instagram Q&A on April 26, Evans said the following about Eason:
“Everything he says he does just to ‘look better’ but in reality behind closed doors he knows the person he really is.
“He has some dark secrets that no one knows but me.”
Early last month, Evans filed for separation from Eason.
She wrote in legal documents at the time that Eason was a deadbeat and a drunk.
“Throughout the parties’ marriage, defendant has exhibited troubling and sometimes disturbing behavior toward plaintiff,” she once wrote, citing the aforementioned act of violence against the family dog as evidence.
Elsewhere in the filing, Evans references the current felony charge pending against her spouse, the result of an alleged attack on her infant son, Jace.
“On or about September 28, 2023, a report was made to medical professionals by plaintiff’s eldest minor child,” Jenelle writes, adding that the sheriff’s office investigated the allegations and David “subsequently charged child abuse and aggravated assault by strangulation was charged.” ”

When asked to reveal these secrets, Evans – who recently filed for a restraining order against David for herself and her children – said she was unable to do so.
“Not the right time, but I’m also scared and feel like my life is at stake,” she said, implying that Eason would hurt her, later adding:
“There is an extensive investigation underway, so I can’t say much about it at the moment.”
In another reply to another follower, Jenelle explained that she was afraid of David because “he talks about people he hates,” claiming he “threatened his baby mother’s life” and was controlling, demanding, among other things and selfish.
“Even his own daughter doesn’t want to live with him,” Evans said of Ensley, the toddler she shares with Eason.
Jenelle called Eason “abusive” but also said she doesn’t regret standing by his side for so long, stating on social media:
“I don’t regret this time because I learned a lot of life lessons that were very important for me to grow up and mature.” Life is easier to understand, I would say. I’ve always learned from mistakes and he was definitely a big mistake.”
