Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans met for the second time in IPL 2024. The 52nd match of the league saw another exciting match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB’s dominance at Titans:
After winning the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru initially decided to bowl first. While they bowled first, they dominated the opposition batters immensely. Mohammed Siraj was exceptional and also made the first breakthrough for his team by dismissing Wriddhiman Saha. In the round of 16 he dismissed Shubman Gill. After this, Cameron Green fired Sai Sudharsan.
After that, Shah Rukh Khan and David Miller formed an impactful partnership. Karn Sharma dismissed David Miller at a crucial point. After his dismissal, Shah Rukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia pushed the innings forward but Virat Kohli dismissed Khan in a stunning run-out. Yash Dayal fired Rashid Khan. Vyshak Vijaykumar picked up two crucial wickets. They stopped the Gujarat Titans by 147 runs.
Gujarat Titans Nice Try:
Bowling in the second innings, the Titans bowlers got off to an easy start. But then we slowly got into the game. Faf du Plessis ran well but Joshua Little dismissed him for 64 runs. Noor Ahmed dismissed Will Jacks in an exceptional performance. Joshua Little then secured his second wicket by dismissing Rajat Patidar.
Little’s masterclass didn’t end there. He registered his third and fourth wickets of Glenn Maxwell and Cameron Green. Noor Ahmed ended his tenure with 2 wickets for 23 runs. Despite these exciting efforts, they suffered a defeat by 4 wickets.
