What will Heartstopper Season 3 cover?
As the finale suggested, Charlie’s eating disorder and self-harm will take center stage going forward. “In Season 2 we started to delve heavily into mental health, and I think it’s pretty obvious from the way we’re leaving the season that that’s going to be a big element of Season 3,” said Oseman told Metro in August 2023. “We’ll continue to delve into this and explore how this impacts Nick and Charlie’s relationship and all of the other friendships on the show.”
While Heart stopper is based on Oseman’s graphic novels of the same name. The showrunner is looking forward to continuing to expand her story – so even readers won’t know everything that’s coming.
“I’m always very interested in preserving what’s in the comics and making sure all the big, exciting moments are in the series, but honestly there’s just so much extra room to do what we want,” Oseman said Weekly entertainment in 2023. “Now that we have seasons 1 and 2, we’ve seen a lot of development for the supporting cast: Tao, Elle, Tara, Isaac, even new characters like Imogen.” There’s so much new for us in season 3 gives so much scope.
