Gypsy Rose Blanchard takes the next step in their relationship with her Ex-fiancé Ken Urker.

The 32 year old Gypsy Rose: Life after the Lockup The star was alone on the red carpet for Lifetime’s “For Your Consideration” event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, but had Urker on his mind when he spoke to ET’s Deidre Behar.

But the two won’t be apart for long, she revealed.

“He’s actually moving to Louisiana to be closer to me,” Gypsy told ET.

Gypsy and Ken met through a prison pen pal program while she was in prison for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. The couple got engaged in 2019, but the two separated and Gypsy linked up with her Ryan Scott Anderson – whom she married in 2022 – in prison.

The rekindled romance with Ken comes in the midst of Gypsy’s divorce from Ryan. ET reported that she filed for divorce from Anderson At the beginning of April and shortly thereafter she filed a motion with a local court for an injunction against her estranged husband.

“I think with our history we’ve always had a very close connection,” Gypsy said of Ken on Wednesday. “Having this foundation has been crucial to our reconnection and we are just hopeful for what our future holds. You know, I know I’m going through a difficult time right now, and that’s why I’m really doing my best. “I can move forward with my life.”

Gypsy doesn’t rule out the question of whether this could include wedding bells again. Although she believes Ken is the one for her, Gypsy explains why she won’t rush down the aisle.

“I’ve always said that Ken is my soulmate,” she told ET. “But I don’t want to go too fast because I want to control myself. I don’t want to raise expectations and make things too difficult.”

For now, she said, “We’re basically just enjoying our time together and, as you know, hopeful for the future.”

The reality star and former inmate promises a no-holds-barred look into her life in her upcoming eight-part documentary for Lifetime, premiering in June.

“I didn’t set any boundaries,” she told ET. “I was very transparent with the crew and filmmakers over the last four months of my life. I put everything on the table, I dedicated my entire life to making sure viewers see who I am as an individual, my true identity.”

As for this me today, Gypsy said, “I am a woman who feels very strong and confident. And this will definitely be a new chapter in my life and one I’m exploring to the fullest.”
