The rift between Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek, Arti’s elder brother, had attracted wide attention since it erupted in 2016. Netizens remained uncertain about Govinda’s presence, especially after his absence from the previous ceremonies. However, his gracious appearance at the wedding signaled a thawing of the family discord.
In a heartwarming video shared online, Govinda’s beaming smile reflected his joyful mood as he entered the venue and greeted the waiting paparazzi with folded hands. Krushna expressed disappointment over Govinda’s choice and expected support from the family. A joke Krushna made on his show put additional strain on their relationship and led to a public disagreement. Govinda felt hurt by Krushna’s comments and criticized his approach to comedy.
