Every Accusation Made in Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s Messy Divorce

Jeezy (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins) called the couple’s marriage “irretrievably broken” and “without hope of reconciliation” in his divorce filing. The documents, which Jeezy originally signed in June 2023, revealed that the exes are “currently living in a true state of separation.”

The rapper is seeking joint custody of the duo’s daughter, Monaco, whom they gave birth to in January 2022. During an appearance in October at SherriMai noted that Monaco has been her “north star” as she deals with the divorce proceedings and cheating allegations.

“I can look at them and say, ‘What advice would I give you?’ If you were in my shoes?’ And it changes everything,” she explained.

Accusations of infidelity

May responded to Jeezy’s divorce filing in November 2023 by asking the court to maintain a clause in their prenuptial agreement that penalizes any party who cheated during the marriage. She also called for an “equitable division” of all assets in court documents she obtained Us weekly.

In November 2023, Jeezy requested a preliminary court hearing to resolve custody of Monaco. In court documents obtained from Page sixthe musician claimed that Mai acted as a “gatekeeper” between him and her daughter.

Jeezy stated in the documents that Monaco has been living with Mai “temporarily” since he filed for divorce.

“Since then, the parties have attempted to reach temporary custody arrangements on an informal basis,” the filing states. “While the parties have agreed to a visitation schedule through the end of 2023, confirmed through communications between their attorneys, it is becoming increasingly less feasible to continue to manage custody and parenting time issues in such an ad hoc manner.”

Jeezy further claimed that Monaco’s “changing parenting schedule” had become “stressful.”

“[Jeannie’s] Interference with [Jeezy’s] “While the relationship with the child does not arise out of or with malicious intent, it nevertheless causes confusion and tension between the parties and retards the development of the plaintiff’s relationship with the child,” he claimed.
