A 108-page statement from Elon Musk went public on Monday, as first reported by HuffPost. The filing occurred on March 28 when the billionaire discussed his strange alternative X accounts. One of the accounts filed in the case is @ermnmusk, which has long suspected it, according to HuffPost Muskburner, where he plays the role of his toddler. The two-hour deposition is part of a lawsuit accusing Musk of falsely accusing a 22-year-old Jewish man of taking part in a neo-Nazi brawl.
In his statement, Musk is asked several questions about this alt account, which HuffPost identifies as @ermnmusk. In the transcript he refers to the old one as a “test account” that he “used for a short time.” motherboard @ermnmusk was first suspected to be an Elon Brenner account, thanks to one Screenshot shared by Musk in April 2023.

The slander legal action is filed by Ben Brody, a 22-year-old Jewish man who claims to be the victim of a conspiracy theory that Musk allegedly amplified. Online users reportedly claimed the rally was fake and carried out by federal agents and identified Ben Brody as one of them. Musk points to another alternative account in the statement, listed in the court transcript as “Baby Smoke 9,000.” No such account exists on X, but it could be a typo @babysmurf9000, another long-suspected Elon burner. A Medium article dated Oct. 2023 says Elon has confirmed that this is his deputy in an X Spaces. This account is still active today, with the last tweet appearing on April 4th. The account @babysmurf9000 exhibits much more Elon behavior and is followed by venture capitalist Marc Andreessen.

Another tweet from the alleged alt account appeared to mock a Signature Bank president for leading a Pride Council meeting on proper pronoun use. “His pronouns are Money/Gone,” he said Account.
These alternative representations were revealed in a broader investigation into how Musk used the X platform in the statement. The lawsuit describes Musk’s behavior as “astonishingly reckless.” Despite the strange discourse that his alt accounts reveal, the case is mainly about how the owner of X runs his main account on X with over 179 million followers.
