Doja cat“The actress’s music and performances are not for children,” she clarified in a series of tweets. Less than a week after she closed out the second weekend of Coachella with a provocative performance, the 28-year-old rapper took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to condemn parents for apparently bringing their “offspring” to her graphic shows had.

“I don’t know what the fuck you’re thinking, but I don’t make music for kids, so leave your kids at home, bastard [sic]” Doja tweeted on Thursday, April 25.

Then, in two separate tweets, she added, “I’m rapping about why you bring your kids to my show.” [sic]“Followed by” rapping about eating d**k and pissing on his v-neck, leave your mistake at home [sic].”

While it is still unclear who exactly she was responding to online, some suspected that she had received complaints about her public persona and her artistic appearance. Last weekend, Doja ended her second round of Coachella performances with a sludgy and sexual performance of her song “Wet Vagina.” The “Vegas” artist twerked and grinded on stage while surrounded by mud.

Last year, the Grammy winner addressed rumors that accused her of not appreciating her fan base.

“One thing I want to make clear is: You will never see a direct quote from me saying that I hate my fans. Not once,” she told Apple Music’s Ebro in December 2023. “But it’s a really big, misquoted thing. Everyone says, ‘She hates her fans.’ I never said that, but I like to play with it as a meme.”

She continued: “I know that the people who understand it understand it too. And I’m okay with that. I don’t have to explain my sense of humor and comedy to anyone. If people don’t get the joke, then they just don’t get it, and it’s not my responsibility to make sure they get it.”

At the time, Doja was referring to the time she blasted fans in threads for using her government name (Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) online, per billboard.

“I’m not going to make everyone happy, and that’s it,” she added at the time. “That’s just not me, and I know it’s not me. That liberated me enormously.”
