Indian wicketkeeper and batsman Dinesh Karthik is happily married to squash champion Dipika Pallikal. The duo tied the knot in 2015 and together they were blessed with twins Kabir and Zian, who were born on October 18, 2021. Since then, the cricketer often shares anecdotes from his life and amazes his fans. Now we have come across a video where he is seen along with his teammates and Virat Kohli is seen hilariously teasing Dinesh by giving a hint to Dipika.

In a video that went viral on social media, Dinesh Karthik can be seen sitting in front of his teammates with a list of questions. The video started with Dinesh asking his friends about one of his favorite sportspersons besides every cricketer. He asked, “What is my favorite sportsperson other than the cricketer?” Soon after, Virat quipped, “Your wife?” and Dinesh too quickly said, “That’s a great answer.” But Virat couldn’t stop himself from teasing him and said, “Absolutely,” and everyone there burst out laughing. Finally, Dinesh mentioned that he had a different answer in mind and said:
“I had a different answer in mind. You completely surprised me, I swear.”

Dinesh Karthik once apologized for his sexist comments on Neighbor Wife and reveals how his wife reacted
A few months ago, Dinesh Karthik was in the headlines for quite some time with his comments on cricket bats. The cricketer-turned-commentator had shocked everyone with a disappointing sexist comment during the 2nd ODI between England and Sri Lanka. The cricketer compared cricket bats to “neighbor wives”. It was when he talked about how bats are like someone’s wife to the cricketers. Furthermore, he mentioned that every cricketer disapproves of his bats and always likes other players’ bats. Therefore he said in his absurd comment:
“Batters don’t like bats, it goes hand in hand. Most hitters don’t seem to like their bats. Either they like someone else’s racket. Bullies are like a neighbor’s wife. You always feel better.”

However, his misogynistic comment angered millions across the country. Hence, Dinesh apologized for the same during commentary duty of the 3rd ODI between England and Sri Lanka. He also admitted how his wife Dipika Pallikal and mother Padmini Krishnakumar reacted to his comments. Dinesh mentioned that Dipika also scolded him and added that he never intended to hurt the emotions of his millions of fans. He shared:
“I would like to apologize for what happened last game. It’s not really what I intended Mom for saying that. I’m really sorry it shouldn’t happen again.

For the uninitiated, Dinesh has married twice in his life. He was previously married to his childhood lover Nikita Vanjara. They had tied the knot back in 2007. But after a few years of her married life, Nikita fell in love with Dinesh’s cricket girlfriend Murli Vijay. There were many reports claiming that Nikita also became a mother to Murli’s child during her marriage with Dinesh. When Dinesh came to know about this, the couple separated. After his heartbreaking divorce from Nikita, Dinesh found love again in Dipika and since then they have been living a happy married life.
