Indian captain and Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma holds the record for most sixes by an Indian player in IPL history with 276 sixes in 250 innings in the tournament. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli is ranked second with 258 sixes in 240 IPL innings.
Meanwhile, former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper and wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni has become the third Indian to score the most sixes in IPL history. Known for his six-hitting ability, Dhoni has 248 sixes to his name in 227 innings in the world’s biggest T20 league.
Well, Sanju Samson surpassed Mr IPL Suresh Raina to become the fourth Indian to hit the most sixes in IPL history, with 205 sixes in 159 innings so far in the cash-rich T20 league. On the other hand, former CSK batsman Raina hit 203 sixes in 200 IPL innings.
