Chris Hemsworth has admitted that there was jealousy between him and his brother Liam Hemsworth about a big film.
The 40-year-old revealed he wasn’t the only Hemsworth in the running to join the Marvel Universe, as his younger brother Liam, 34, was also considered for the role Thor in the 2011 film of the same name.
The action star confirmed this in a lie detector test Vanity Fair After auditioning for the role, he was told he didn’t get it, but then Liam was asked to apply for the role too.
“I was told I didn’t have the role at the time. So I was excited for him, maybe a little jealous, but I was happy for him,” Chris said. “When I was allowed to audition again, he had disappeared from the scene.”
“So we were never neck and neck,” he explained. “Either I was involved, then I wasn’t involved, then he was involved, then he wasn’t involved, then I was involved.”

He said: “Liam’s life would have been very different without him The last song“Right?” in reference to Liam’s relationship with his ex-wife Miley Cyrus.
However, despite being confident in his answer, the polygraph examiner told the Star that his answer was actually “inconclusive” and not “true.”
“What?! Do I want to be in “The Last Song”? No. What does it say? 1714588745?” he asked, laughing, to which the examiner repeated: “It’s not conclusive.”
Liam and Cyrus began dating while filming the 2009 film, and Liam proposed three years later. However, they called off the engagement in September 2013.
In 2016, they rekindled their romance and moved in together. In 2018, they married in an intimate ceremony in Tennessee. Liam filed for divorce in August 2019, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
