RCB won the second game against Gujarat Titans, this time at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The toss was in favor of RCB and captain Faf decided to bowl first.
Even though RCB has very little chance of making it to the playoffs, the chances are not bad. It will be interesting to see how the team performs in the next few games.
RCB have now moved up to 7th position in the points table from 10th position. RCB’s Mohammed Siraj was named the player of the match.

In his post-match interview, Faf du Plessis made sure to address the crowd and talk about today’s game.
The captain also emphasized that the RCB team focuses on the performance of the players and not the results. He also praised the team for going in the right direction in bowling, batting and fielding.
“We’ve been really good in the last few games, both with bat and ball. We’ve been incredible on the field too. The wicket was a little different, there was a little more bounce. We wanted to make sure we took that information from the field and passed it on to the bowlers. Yes, there was a dropped catch, but it’s the effort we’re looking for and it was there all along,” he said.
Du Plessis talks about high score games
In the same statement, Faf du Plessis added that the team’s previous games in Chinnaswamy had proved to be high scoring games. He emphasized that it was important for the team not to look at the scoreboard so as not to become overconfident.
“The games we played here all involved high scores, anything around 180-190 would have been the same. It was important that we didn’t look at the scoreboard when we batted and tried to play the way we play. “Was a little nervous,” said Faf
Talking about the net run rate for RCB, he accepted that the team needed to calm down a bit, especially after losing four wickets.
“Probably not the best review from us there. “Yes, we wanted to go out and reach the total quickly to increase the NRR, but we probably needed to calm down a bit when we were at 4,” he added.
