Metro responds to Drake
Metro – born Leland Tyler Wayne – photographed Drake on the track “Push Ups.” The Canadian rapper wrote: “Metro, shut up and play some drums, n****.” Social media was shocked that he disparaged the popular producer as he was not an MC.
As previously reported by The Shade Room, the 30-year-old apparently responded on Twitter after Kendrick Lamar released his dissident record about Drake: “Thank God for this day.”

Metro took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on May 5 to directly address Drizzy’s dissidents.
He wrote, “The drum thing was ridiculous so I left it, but what we didn’t do is spread lies and involve my loved ones.”
“Nobody ever hit my girl, nigga, we grew up together” Metro explained with laughing emojis.
“She’s a real woman and not even in the industry but I guess #youwouldntknownunboutdatttt” wrote the “Annihilate” producer.
Additionally, Metro released an email to prove that Drake had allegedly requested that Future’s “Like That” featuring Kenrick be removed from radio.
I’m lame, but the first week after #Like that You tried to block it on the radio
I’ve been sitting on this email for a month now, but I just spared you
Oh, you don’t #Like that record??? pic.twitter.com/Jj4nVaz5LG

“Now go make another song that tells more lies, because we both know you can’t tell everyone why I don’t fuck with you. That wouldn’t look good on you either, so I’ll spare both of us.” he wrote.
Metro Boomins Diss Beat
No one expected Metro to respond immediately.
He announced on Twitter that he would be giving away a beat he produced, writing: “The best verse over it gets a free beat.” Simply upload your song and the hashtag #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway.
The soulful 70s-style title repeats itself “BBL Drizzy” before singing,“I’m fatter than a Snicker. I’m fatter than an asshole. Don’t act like you don’t know me.”
The text continued, “Baby, it’s no secret. “Have the best BBL in history. This cake will delight you. I know you saw that glow.”
The beat then changes to a heavy hip-hop beat and increases the tempo.
Where will this beef go next?
