VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 24, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Asante Gold Corporation (“Asante” or the “Company” CSE:ASE | GSE:ASG | FRANKFURT:1A9 | USOTC:ASGOF) announces a correction to the voting numbers and percentages in its press release announcing the results of its annual general meeting (the “Meet“) took place yesterday, April 23, 2024. The press release contained the voting results of the proxies received and did not include voting results at the meeting. The Company confirms that all matters submitted to management for approval have been properly authorized and approved. The corrected detailed voting results of the Assembly are as follows:

About the Bibiani Gold Mine

Bibiani is an operating open pit gold mine in the western northern region of Ghana with past gold production of more than 4.5 million ounces. It is fully permitted due to the presence of mining and processing infrastructure on site, consisting of a newly renovated 3 million tonnes per annum processing plant and existing mining infrastructure. Asante began mining in Bibiani in late February 2022. The first gold casting was announced on July 7, 2022. Commercial production was announced on November 10, 2022.

Chirano is an operating open pit and underground mine located in the western region of Ghana, immediately south of the Company’s Bibiani gold mine.
