Ariana Madix doesn’t say goodbye to her Chicago Character, Roxie Hart, just barely.

“One is never enough! @arianamadix returns to CHICAGO on Broadway from August 1st to 27th!” the official one Chicago Account posted via Instagram on Monday, May 6th.

Madix, 38, was expected to finish her performance in March, but due to popular demand she extended the performance until April. Now she puts several August dates in her calendar.

The Vanderpump Rules star made her Broadway debut in January, just a month after her casting news was announced. Madix revealed at the time that it was her “lifelong dream” to star on Broadway.

“It’s literally the reason anything else ever happened,” Madix gushed during an interview Extra. “That’s why I studied theater… it’s why I lived [in NYC] so long ago. In fact, it’s actually the reason I moved to LA in the first place, so it’s crazy.”

The news of Madix’s return to Chicago comes as multiple media outlets are reporting that Bravo may be taking a break from filming new episodes VPR Season 12. According to reports, the network feels that the cast might need a breather after the following filming Tom Sandoval And Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ cheating scandal in March 2023. (It is also rumored that Madix’s appearance as host of Love Island Season 6 could play a role in the break.)

Sandoval, 40, seems to have confirmed this VPR would not film season 12 in the summer months as before.

“I think one of the things is that after that scandal, it was like we started filming right when everything happened,” Sandoval explained during an appearance on Fox New day Cleveland on Wednesday, May 1st. “And then we took a short break and then went straight into filming this season that you’re watching right now, Season 11.”

Gizelle Hernandez/Bravo Rumors have been swirling that Bravo is pressing pause on Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules — and the cast is already speaking out. Multiple networks reported in April 2024 that the network was in no rush to begin production after documenting the aftermath of Tom Sandoval and Rachel “Raquel” Leviss cheating scandal. The news spread […]

Sandoval noted that there was usually a brief discussion and he said, “What would happen at the end, if production had just stopped, the last episode of the season, the reunion, then our secrets would be revealed or whatever, it would be aired and then maybe it would be a few weeks and we would start filming again.”

But given the potential break, Sandoval added, the cast would get a real break.

“They just want to give some time to breathe, maybe take a break, I’m really excited about that,” he said. “Because it’s like we film my birthday every year. We’re filming Scheana [Shay]sometimes it’s a birthday or whatever. Having a different time of year could give our show a fresh feel.”
