A home in an Amazon box?
A 19-by-20-foot Amazon tiny home is now selling for $23,000 less than its asking price in January, according to data from third-party retailer Keepa. The price of Jaxenor’s prefab home was around $35,000 at the start of the year, but fell to $11,550 on Thursday.
The tiny home, which arrives neatly folded in a box and expands outward, weighs nearly 8,000 pounds and requires the buyer to provide a crane to unload.

The house was advertised as a possible guest house, office or backyard workshop and was Amazon’s #1 bestselling garden house at the time of writing.

The tiny house consists of a steel frame and a fireproof wall panel with water and thermal insulation. The seller states that the home is earthquake resistant (Class 8), wind resistant (Class 10), and can withstand heavy snow loads of up to 6.6 feet.
The house has a small toilet with shower, sink and toilet, which can be connected directly to the water supply but does not contain any electrical circuits, furniture or installations. The design includes multiple windows and folds back up when the buyer wants to move the device.
