EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a nice one. Emmy nominee Adam Scott (severance pay) will star in and direct his first feature film. Double-bookedalongside Oscar nominee Sterling K. Brown (American fiction), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) and Alexandra Daddario (The White Lotus).
Protagonist Pictures will begin international distribution at the upcoming Cannes market, with UTA Independent Film Group and CAA jointly representing North America.
Double-booked It’s about a successful self-help author (Scott) and his heavily pregnant wife (Beetz) who organize a weekend trip to a remote lodge only to meet another couple (Brown and Daddario) when they arrive. When a snowstorm hits, they are forced to spend the night together, and what seems like a harmless system glitch turns into a frightening battle of deception with deadly consequences.
The project was written by David Levinson (Welcome Home) and produced by Adam Goodman (Juror #2) and Matt Skiena (Juror #2) for Dichotomy Creative Group and Adam Scott and Naomi Scott for Great Scott Productions.

Scott currently stars in the hit AppleTV+ series severance pay, for which he received an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination. He also starred in the groundbreaking NBC series Parks and RecreationHBO’s Big little liesAnd The good place.
Three-time Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown most recently starred in Amazon/MGM’s American fiction and is currently in production on the Hulu drama series Paradise city. He starred on NBC for six years this is usfor which he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe, becoming the first African-American actor to win his category in the awards show’s 75-year history.
Beetz rose to fame through Donald Glover’s award-winning comedy-drama series Atlanta. She is also known for 20th Century Fox Deadpool 2with Ryan Reynolds, Warner Bros. Pictures’ joker starring Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro and the upcoming sequel Joker: Folie a Deux.
Daddario is best known for her Emmy-nominated role on the hit HBO series The White Lotus. She will next reprise her role as Rowan in AMC’s second season Mayfair Witches. Previous credits include Warner Bros. Pictures’ San Andreas opposite Dwayne Johnson and Paramount Pictures’ Baywatchopposite Johnson and Zac Efron.
