In Entertainment tonight‘s clip (below) from Tuesday, April 23rd Small people, big world In the Season 25 finale, Zach Roloff speaks into the confessional camera as we see old footage – from his childhood on Roloff Farms – and his children’s current childhood on his and Tori’s land.

“The farm has been a part of my life, and it won’t be as much a part of our children’s lives as mine,” Zach admits. Jackson, Lilah and Josiah will live different lives than their parents’, for better or worse.

Zach and Matt Roloff had a famous falling out when Matt put part of the family farm up for sale after years of luring his sons with the idea that they would one day run the farm.

This shattered Zach’s dreams – for himself and for his family. While twin brother Jeremy had already given up on the idea, for Zach it was a hard pill to swallow.

Now, however, Zach says it’s not anger that’s stopping him from visiting the farm where he grew up. But he has moved on – and lives his own life with his wife and children.

According to Zach, he has no grudge against Matt

“No one holds grudges, no one intentionally doesn’t go to the farm,” Zach tells the camera in the finale.

“There’s just no interest,” he explains. “The children don’t ask, we don’t hide anything from them.”

Zach emphasizes, “They just don’t ask and they have their own space up here.”

During the clip, Zach makes it clear that he really wants his children to grow up with his love of nature.

This is hardly guaranteed and can even backfire for some parents.

But both Zach and Jeremy grew up with their own dreams of land ownership and family. So far, it looks like Jackson may at least inherit his father’s nature spirit.

Things will never be the same with Matt Roloff

“When it comes to my father, the ship has completely sailed,” says Zach in front of the camera in the finale.

“There’s no big relationship, we just do our own thing,” he admits.

Zach is growing nearly optimistically and concluded: “Time may even it out, but everything will be healed, it will just be different.”
