Everton won their first Merseyside derby in more than 13 years at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening, significantly denting Liverpool’s Premier League title credentials.
It was Jurgen Klopp’s final derby before his impending departure from Liverpool at the end of this season, but it won’t be one he remembers fondly considering his side were second best.
All in all, Liverpool are three points behind Arsenal with four games remaining and could be five points worse off than Manchester City once their remaining games are fully resolved.
Is the championship title now too far out of reach?
