The night before the biggest fashion event of the season, the reality star made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Could the embarrassment be too much for Kim? Enough that she would actually, gasp, miss the Met Gala?!
Kim Kardashian booed during Tom Brady’s Roast
Let’s take a step back for a moment. First, you should know why Kim wakes up with egg on her face the morning of the Met Gala.
It turns out Kim was one of the many surprise guests Tom Brady visited during his Netflix roast on Sunday night. Many of Tom’s former teammates and comedians based in Los Angeles have alternately addressed his career and his love life.
Kim was the only former lover (allegedly) appear when frying. She probably thought it would be fun. She was wrong.
Kardashian was both bombed And was booed… as she got into a lot of trouble from those present. She also had to put up with Tom making jokes about Kanye West, which certainly didn’t go over well when she got home.

To Kim’s credit, her actual roasting material (which we assume she did NOT write herself) was pretty funny.
“I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I could,” Kardashian said, referencing for the first time the rumors that she and the quarterback are dating had a date.
Elsewhere, Kardashian made a very strange joke that things would “never work out” between her and Brady… accidentally comparing Brady to her stepfather Jenner, who transitioned in 2015.
“But I know it would never work. A former athlete, high cheekbones, straight hair – you remind me too much of my stepfather now,” she joked.
“Part of me thinks you’re trying to undress me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must have been really hard, but I think my stepdad is a great example of you.
“She is one of the greatest athletes in the world who has proven in this next chapter that you can do anything. You can become a commentator, a right-wing Republican or even a strong, confident woman.”
But none of that stopped the landing. Maybe there were too many Taylor Swift fans in the audience?!
Will Kim Kardashian attend the Met Gala 2024?
Now, just a day after that humiliating appearance, the most hyped fashion event of the year is taking place in New York City.
We’re talking about the MET Gala, a gathering Kim has attended many times in the past; Take the opportunity to walk the red carpet in an eye-catching outfit. Last year, Kardashian even brought daughter North to the MET Gala. The year before, she famously wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress.
The theme will focus on the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and big names like Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez and Kim’s sister Kendall Jenner are expected to make appearances.
But what about Kim?! The truth is that it is unlikely that she will take part this year. For one thing, this time around Kim didn’t usually do anything but hype her planned outfit to anyone who would listen. Secondly, if she had been at Tom’s Roast last night, she would have booked a flight to NYC straight after if she had been there.
However, none of this gives us a definitive answer. She could still show up. And what’s more, she’s fought hard over the years to get Anna Wintour’s approval to take part. She won’t give it up that easily.
