In the carousel, Perry also posted photos of a fan waiting for her outside the Met Gala, herself singing in the studio, and a text from her mother in which she had to explain that the photos circulating on social media were created by AI and that she was there Once again facts are being skipped.
“Ha Feather! I didn’t know you went to the Met,” her mother’s text message reads. “What a beautiful dress, you look like the Rose Parade, you are your own float lol.”
Perry replied to her mother via text message: “Lol mom, the AI got you too, ATTENTION!”
Unfortunately, it looks like fans will have to wait another year before seeing the singer on the Met Gala carpet again, even though Perry had some of the most iconic looks of all time at the event, including her Cheeseburger and chandelier outfits 2019 and you Angel wings outfit 2018.
