The main men’s season continues at the PGA Championship, with extended live coverage of Valhalla this month exclusively on Sky Sports.
Scottie Scheffler comes as a pre-tournament favorite after his dominant start to 2024, where a second Masters win in three years and a successful title defense at The Players were among the four wins this year.
Scheffler finished tied for second last year behind the five-time major champion Brooks Koepkawho comes into the race after a win at the LIV Golf League event in Singapore and can become the first player since then Tiger Woods winning the Wanamaker Trophy four times.
Woods returns to competition after successfully completing 72 holes at the Masters last month. The former world number 1 won this event in Valhalla in 2000 as part of the infamous “Tiger Slam”.
Rory McIlroy is also a former champion at Valhalla, scoring a one-shot victory in 2014 when the tournament was last held there to secure the most recent of his four major titles, with the Northern Irishman already a winner at the 2014 edition PGA Tour was.

Live coverage of the tournament itself begins at 1pm on Sky Sports Golf on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May, while weekend action starts from 2pm and continues well after play closes.
