Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules went out with a bang.
During the show’s season finale on Tuesday, the cast broke the fourth wall to react after drama between exes Ariana Madix And Tom Sandoval became too much to bear.
The whole thing took place during the group’s trip to San Francisco for pal Kyle Chan’s event, where Scheana Shay was scheduled to perform Scandoval theme song“Apples.”
Despite the fact that Scheana co-performed a song about his affair Rachel LevissSandoval signed up to set the tone for the event, which made Scheana appear even softer toward him.
“I just wish the situation wasn’t so black and white when it came to me and she could see how much I’m struggling by just trying to stay faithful to her,” Scheana told Ariana’s cameras. “I don’t want to lose her, but I feel like I’m losing myself. I just have to let this shit go. It is enough.”
Ariana didn’t soften toward Sandoval and didn’t mince her words when Scheana tried to persuade him.
“He’s an ex-boyfriend of mine who doesn’t deserve to be in my presence and breathe the same air as me, and that’s not going to change,” Ariana insisted, before finally reassuring a crying Scheana that hers Friendship with Sandoval would not affect their relationship.
“You will not lose me. You are my family,” Ariana said. “I don’t want you to worry. You will not lose me. I can’t lose you. You are my family.” Sandoval approaches her and Ariana angrily leaves the room.
Sandoval took advantage of this heartfelt moment to interrupt and attempt to strike up a conversation with Ariana, who quickly stormed off.
“He fucking comes up to me and talks to Scheana. He doesn’t give a fuck if I died in a ditch or contracted a fucking deadly sexually transmitted disease like he did.” “That’s uninformed consent,” Ariana told a producer as she got ready to leave the event. “He doesn’t deserve to talk to me. He doesn’t get access to me.”
Meanwhile, Scheana told Sandoval that Ariana didn’t want an apology from him, telling him that his ex had accused him of being “performant” in his actions.
“This is awesome,” Sandoval declared after Scheana walked away. “Ariana keeps saying that I’m not honest, that I’m performative. Do you know what that is? Ariana is performative as hell. She doesn’t like any of these motherfuckers. So she can.” Fuck saying I’m performative.
He added: “If you don’t want to film with your ex, don’t be on this show. Seriously, sit back on your damn slacker and collect a damn check for doing nothing.” ”
Ariana continued her thoughts with the producer, emphasizing, “It’s about a performance for the audience. He wants to spend 30 seconds with the audience.”
“Whatever Tom is trying to get from me, it’s not for me. It’s for him. I am the final boss in his video game of redemption. Because he can’t reach the final boss, he’s fucking pissed,” she told the cameras. “We live these difficult parts of our lives on camera, but if it’s something that really matters to you, you would still do it.”
“He never tried to talk to me off camera,” Ariana added. “He could have written something in a damn big letter and left it on my kitchen counter and I could have read it at my leisure. But if you had just done it in front of the camera, you would have just shown your true colors to me.”
Sandoval was still angry and stormed over to Scheana. Tom Schwartz And Lala Kent to express his frustration.
“I’m mad that she’s fucking saying that because Ariana, she’s not doing anything with you. Seriously. She’s talking shit about you **kers,” Sandoval said. “She doesn’t show up for your sex. She won’t come to your damn thing! I will come. When push comes to shove, I’m fucking there, dude.”
Scheana agreed with Sandoval’s assessment as he apologized for the “relentless amount of hate” felt by people who “recognized me as a person.”
After a season of feeling like she was “biting my tongue,” Lala seemed to have reached that point.
“It’s a lot to break the fourth wall, but I’m going to do it now. This is what happened to her, the world gathered around her. She thinks she’s Beyoncé now,” Lala said. “It’s nonsense that she can’t film with someone, that she stays under the same roof.” [with]! That is much. “I understand! He fucking cheated! She moved on eight days later! Eight days! I have never seen anyone in my life be deceived and suddenly become God. OK.”
The “God” comment was one that viewers had been expecting from Lala for a long time, as it was hinted at in the show’s season preview. When ET spoke to Lala ahead of the season premiere, She explained how she thought viewers would feel about her comment.
“I think the great thing about this season is that people are blown away,” Lala said. “And I love when people are torn on reality TV because it starts the conversation. There’s nothing I love more than Bravo Talk.”
In a confessional, Lala also gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look and criticized Ariana for not showing her real life on the show.
“I love filming this show because it’s real. I find it to be incredibly healing. For Ariana to go out like that is a slap in the face,” Lala told the cameras. “That’s what we do. We’ve been doing this for most of our adult lives. We have all experienced ups and downs. There is a responsibility in living your life in front of the camera. You have to be honest even when it’s extremely unpleasant.”
“I watch James live his authentic life. Scheana did it. “Tom and Katie.” [have]. I feel like I did. But there was a time when I wasn’t honest about what was going on in my life and it was overwhelming,” she continued, alluding to her previous relationship with Randall Emmett. “I don’t feel like Tom and Ariana were ever honest about their relationship until Tom was caught cheating. Do you believe that you can be honest for a moment and then put it all away and everything will be fine? Fuck it all.
When a producer, off-camera but still with the microphone, declared, “That’s the end,” Schwartz remarked, “That was one heck of a plot twist.”
“I love it,” Sandoval replied. “That is good for me.”
Vanderpump Rules‘ Three-part reunion starts on May 14th, the remaining episodes will be broadcast on May 21st and 28th. Extended and uncensored versions of the shocking reunion will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
