Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are bringing even more blockbuster movie action to your summer vacation ahead of next year Epic universe Opening. The 60th anniversary of the Studio Tour kicked off at Universal Studios Hollywood Ryan Gosling a surprise appearance for a new, limited-time pre-show based on his new film The Guy case– which we have a video of below!
Meanwhile, Universal Orlando is preparing to bring back some of the theme park’s iconic icons from past attractions with new experiences Jaw, Back to the Future, Ghostbustersand more in new daytime and evening entertainment offerings starting June 4th. What’s more, DreamWorks Land is set to open on June 14th, which means you’ll soon be able to take up space in Shrek’s beloved swamp opposite the place blessedly saved from destruction ET Adventures.

Summer at Universal Studios Hollywood
Over the weekend, io9 was invited to Universal Studios Hollywood to see the premiere of The Fall Guy’s impressive pre-showperformed in front of the park’s cult favorite Water world Experience. What we didn’t realize was that we were in for one sleight of hand There was a marketing surprise when Gosling – the film’s star and noted theme park fan – showed up to introduce it. It was a unique stunt show compared to the premiere, with the actor witnessing some of the action along with director David Leitch; The performance was both meta and an homage to the stunts behind Hollywood blockbusters. It was great fun to see the filmmakers and the theme park’s stunt acting crew, who work at Universal, compete against each other; Since it’s a small industry, it was really cool to see the collaboration in person. Elsewhere in the park, experience the Studio Tour’s 60th anniversary celebration with new backyard stops. Now you can see Doc Brown and the DeLorean Back to the FutureExperience a new experience at Court House Square earthquake See a T-Rex and get up close to the classic red glamor tram cars in new photo ops.
Summer at Universal Studios Orlando
Even more blockbuster love is coming to Universal Studios Orlando with new experiences that bring back iconic films. Debuting July 3rd at Universal Studios Florida, The universal mega film parade will see the return of Back to the Future, JawAnd Ghostbusters to the parks next to it Jurassic Park Franchise, ANDlighting minions, and DreamWorks Animations Trolls And Kung Fu Panda. It will be Universal Orlando’s largest daytime parade with 13 brand new floats celebrating Universal Pictures’ popular releases. “Guests will watch in awe as they see the giant, 16-foot-tall Stay Puft Marshmallow Man at the summit Ghostbusters float,” says a press release; and there will also be a “live marching drum line performing the iconic film score from Jaw next to a float based on the film’s theme.” I’m keeping my fingers crossed for one Beetlejuice also swims.
For fans of drone light shows, no fewer than 600 will be in use during Universal Orlando’s nighttime hours Cinesational: A symphonic spectacle. Beginning June 14, the new nighttime show will bring the waters of Universal Studios Florida’s lagoon to life with iconic film scores and scenes from blockbuster films. It will include Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions and feature films such as Jurassic world, Jaws, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Trolls, Back to the Future, the Universal Monsters films, Transformers, How to Train Your Dragon, ET, Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, The Mummy,And King Kong (but please also, give us more Beetlejuice). Through the use of projections, water screens and buildings, guests will be immersed in some of cinema’s most breathtaking moments, which is what we love about the parks.
DreamWorks Land
Welcome to Shrek’s Swamp and Beyond! DreamWorks Land officially opens June 14th at Universal Studios Florida. You can visit popular DreamWorks Animation locations, including Shrek’s Swamp, where you can meet and greet, or ride attractions based on hit films such as: B. based Trolls with the family-friendly troller coaster. There will also be a new show, DreamWorks Imagination Celebration, This gives families the opportunity to enjoy a live, multi-sensory stage performance featuring some of their favorite characters.
