The Met Gala 2024 is officially here and we can’t help but be impressed by the amazing looks this season. The Met Gala is held every year on the first Monday in May to raise funds for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York, USA. This year the gala was themed “Sleeping Beauty: Resurgent Fashion” and celebrities actually put their best foot forward on the red carpet. However, African singer Tyla and Hollywood celebrity Kim Kardashian’s look took our breath away in the best way possible.
Tyla transformed into a sand beauty for the 2024 Met Gala
What better way to represent time than with sand and an hourglass? Tyla certainly understood the brief for the Met Gala 2024. For the red carpet, the singer wore a stunning beige Balmain dress made from real sand. The robe was made of three types of sand of different densities to highlight the essence of the time.

Tyla paired the look with an hourglass clutch, diamond ring, necklace and earrings. Tyla opted for neutral glam to highlight her dress and left her short tresses down. Her dress even had a yard-long circular bow to highlight the hourglass definition of the dress.
Kim Kardashian amazed us with her emphatically tailored look
How can you talk about the successful Met Gala looks without mentioning Kim Kardashian? The diva opted for a silver Maison Margiela by John Galliano dress with a corset that was so extremely laced that it left us in awe. The reality TV star’s dramatic corset was paired with a GAP sweater with turtleneck sleeves and floral embellishments.

Kim Kardashian completed her look with white bleached tresses left in soft curls and dark brown highlights applied with a few ounces of highlighter. Kim proved once again at the Met Gala that no one can top her fashion game.
