Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pushed past Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 4 wickets in the 69th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.

PBKS opted to bat first and recorded an impressive total score of 214/5 on the board. opener Prabhsimran Singh (71 runs) and Atharva Taide (46 runs) provided a solid foundation with a lively partnership. Later cameos from Rilee Rossouw (49 runs) and Jitesh Sharma (32 runs) pushed the score further.
For SRH, the bowling attack lacked bite, with just T. Natarajan (2 wickets), Pat Cummins And Vijayakanth Vijayakanth (1 wicket) Managing breakthroughs.
SRH pursues the goal with style
In response, SRH chased the target with an over to spare, showcasing their strong batting depth. Abhishek Sharma (66 runs) was the star of the show, hitting six sixes and five fours in a brilliant knock. Nitish Kumar Reddy (37 runs) and Heinrich Klaasen (42 runs) provided valuable contributions in the middle range.
The Punjab Kings bowlers struggled to contain the SRH batsmen with just a few shots Arshdeep Singh And Harshal Patel Management of two scalps. Rahul Chahar And Rishi Dhawan proved ineffective, conceding 43 and 35 runs respectively without taking a wicket.
