Travis Kelce Stars in Ryan Murphy’s FX Series Grotesquerie

EXCLUSIVE: Travis Kelce’s foray into Hollywood continues with his first big acting job: a role in Ryan Murphy’s high-profile new FX horror series Grotesque. According to sources, the NFL star – and worldwide celebrity for his relationship with Taylor Swift – has been cast alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville in the upcoming series, which has just begun production. Representatives for FX, Murphy and production studio 20th Television declined to comment.

As with all Murphy projects, details abound grotesque are scarce as no cast other than Nash-Betts, Vance and Manville have been confirmed for the drama, which is scheduled to premiere in the fall.

The series’ debut is expected to coincide with next football season, when Kelce will return to the Kansas City Chiefs as a tight end and lead the team to its third Super Bowl victory in five years.

grotesque is a sequel to Kelce’s acting debut as host of Saturday Night Live in March 2023. Last fall, he also made a cameo appearance alongside Swift on the NBC late-night sketch comedy series.
