Travis Kelce Grins on Set with Niecy Nash in ‘Grotesquerie’ Videos

Travis Kelce looked like a natural on the set of his first acting gig.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end beamed from the set with new behind-the-scenes videos Ryan Murphyis the upcoming FX drama, grotesqueshared by the series star Niecy Nash Betts. The Reno 911 alum Kelce’s casting was previously announced in a video posted to her Instagram Feed on Tuesday.

Nash-Betts followed up with more videos on her Instagram Story in which she showed off a chair on set that bore the guest star’s name. Then the two sat together in a convertible between takes.

“This guy,” that one Emmy Award-winning actress says, pointing her camera at Kelce.

“Buckle up!” He responds, eliciting a giggle and an “Oh, sir” from Nash-Betts.

In the shot, Nash-Betts wears oversized sunglasses and a scarf wrapped over her head. Kelce appears to be wearing an all-white outfit with a camel-colored coat.

She later shared a video after Kelce ended the day hugging Murphy outside.

“How are you feeling?” she asks Kelce.

“I’m just glad I didn’t hurt anyone,” he replies cheekily.

A source told ET on Tuesday“Travis Kelce wears many hats these days as he enters the acting world in his first TV series role, starring alongside Niecy Nash Grotsequerie by Ryan Murphy. Details of Travis’ role are not yet known, but it is a guest role and his presence will be felt throughout the series.”

The source added: “Travis is excited to try out these skills and show a different side of himself off the field. More projects like this will follow.”

Although no details about the show have been announced yet, FX previously released a short clip describing the project – which also stars The crown alum Lesley Manville And Courtney B. Vance – as a “new horror drama series”.
