Tori Spelling is no longer a married woman.
She filed for divorce from Dean McDermott in late March after being wife and husband for 18 years.
However, just because she no longer has a spouse doesn’t mean Spelling is no longer interested in expanding her immediate family.
The actress might actually have another child!
Speaking to listeners of her “Misspelling” podcast on Tuesday, Spelling agreed with guest Sara Evans after the singer said she “would love to be pregnant again.”
“Same, my friend!” Spelling answered. “I would like to have another baby. Oh dear God.”
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum currently has five children — Beau, 7, Finn, 11, Hattie, 12, and Stella, 15, and Liam, 17 — with McDermott.
In her aforementioned divorce petition, she requests sole physical and joint custody of these sons and daughters, with McDermott being granted visitation time.
At one point in this podcast, Spelling jokingly asked Evans’ husband, Jay Barker, to “get her pregnant”; At least we assume she was joking.
The mother of five later shared that having more children was probably out of the question.
“I’m totally menopausal but I’m so depressed. I should have been cold [sic] my balls,” Spelling said on air.
Back to her file:
The spelling gave the date of the couple’s separation as June 17, 2013; and also cited “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for their split.
For observers who have followed the relationship between Spelling and McDermott over the past few years, this filing came as no surprise.
It was on the exact date above that we first reported on Spelling and McDermott’s decision to separate.
“It is with great sadness and a very, very heavy heart that @torispelling and I, after 18 years together and five amazing children, have decided to go our separate ways and begin a new journey of our own,” the Canadian actor wrote via Instagram statement last summer.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents, supporting and loving our children through this difficult time.”
McDermott had previously confessed to cheating on spelling while the couple struggled with their finances for years.
“All Tori has done to date is keep me happy and healthy, and I have caused this woman a lot of harm and pain,” Dean told The Daily Mail on November 15, adding at the time:
“I take responsibility for that today. And it’s the biggest amends I’ll ever have to make.”
Meanwhile, on the April 16 episode of her podcast, Spelling revealed that despite giving birth to five children, she was unable to push any of them out of her vagina.
“I’ve had five C-sections, guys. So I have to admit that my gynecologist says I have the lady parts of a 14-year-old because they’re intact,” Spelling said. “And I didn’t do five C-sections on purpose.”
This could explain why Spelling wants to get pregnant again.
“Since I was five years old I thought, ‘I want to have a baby.’ “I want to give birth to a baby,” she added in that previous podcast.
