The trailer for the upcoming crime drama, Tipppsy, was launched at a multiplex in Mumbai today. The event was attended by director Deepak Tijori, leading actresses Alankrita Sahai, Natasha Suri, Kainaat Arora, Nazia Hussain and Sonia Birje and actors Harjinder Singh and Mandeep Kaur Sandhu. Deepak’s mentor Mahesh Bhatt and his close friend Pooja Bhatt were also present on the occasion.
Tipppsy Trailer Launch: Deepak Tijori revealed that after photoshoot for Pooja Bhatt-Raveena Tandon’s co-star Pehla Nasha, he vowed never to work with multiple heroines: ‘Mere pasine nikal gaye the’
Deepak Tijori said, “I am grateful to these girls. They were extremely cooperative. They played characters that were in no way close to their actual personalities. They have transformed. I was worried about having five girls on set. Previously, I worked with two heroines. Then I worked with Pooja Bhatt and Raveena Tandon First medication (1993). tab I swore I would do this Heroines I’ll never do anything with you!”
Pooja Bhatt added at this point, “We didn’t have a single scene together.” Deepak replied, “Yes, but during that one photoshoot with them, My sweat ran out! So I had my concerns. But those five girls were wonderful.”
Later, during the question and answer session with the media, Pooja Bhatt clarified, “We were never on the sets together. The make-up artist didn’t show up that day. Photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha did the makeup for me and Raveena. God bless his soul! So the behind-the-scenes stories are far more interesting than the films we put out.”
Meanwhile, a journalist asked Deepak Tijori if he would proudly flaunt his graying hair on screen. Deepak replied, “I actually support that. When I see Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Richard Gere playing their age, I wonder why we can’t make movies where we can play our age. I think it’s high time we did this and stopped dancing around the trees with the 20-year-old actress!”
Tipppsy hits theaters on May 10th.
