Wedges are the perfect comfortable and stylish shoe – at least in theory! They’re usually stylish, but “comfortable” is a gamble. If you’ve ever fallen in love with a pair only to see them rubbing your heels, squeezing your toes and chafing your ankle, know – looks can be deceiving!
At the other extreme, type “comfortable sandals” into the Google search bar and you’ll find that not only is there a jungle out there, but there are actually some not-so-trendy styles as well. It’s a constant battle to find the balance between fashion and comfort, but guess what? We found it!
Imagine the perfect sandal, one that doesn’t hurt your feet (or toes or heels!), goes with everything, and is suitable for long walks. That’s this sandal! It features a contour-cushioned footbed that reviewers say makes every step feel like you’re “walking on air,” a soft and adjustable ankle strap, a rubber insole, and a polyester lining for added comfort.
“When it comes to shoes (sandals), I am extremely picky,” said one reviewer. “But with these, all I needed was the sole of my foot to touch the softness of the suede to know I wanted them. Lightweight, comfortable and true to size.”
These sandals have a cork-like midsole that gives them energy in warm weather and makes you two inches taller. The exterior is made of a thermoplastic rubber material, making it sturdy enough for most types of terrain. Although we wouldn’t recommend climbing a mountain, Italy’s cobblestone streets are fair game!
Speaking of which, they would be the ideal European vacation sandals that involve a lot of walking. We imagine these sandals with sundresses and maxi skirts all summer long, but you can also wear them everyday this spring. Try wearing them with a tank top, cardigan, wide-leg jeans, and a crossbody bag for picnics, BBQs, and coffee dates, or with boho pants and a t-shirt for errands! We love the versatility of these shoes. You can also wear them to the beach with a swimsuit and floppy hat.
These come in black and tan leather, both with what one reviewer calls “expensive-looking contrast stitching.” There aren’t hundreds of reviews yet as the sandals are a new release, but so far no one has anything less than four stars to say… us neither!
