- The Japanese tuner offers fiberglass and carbon fiber versions of its Land Cruiser kit.
- Liberty Walk also offers 22 and 24 inch wheels for off-roaders.
- This kit isn’t cheap and can cost almost $20,000.
Although the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series unfortunately never made it to the United States, it is an extremely compelling option for those looking for a comfortable and luxurious off-roader. It’s particularly popular in Japan, so it’s hardly surprising that one of the country’s best-known tuners, Liberty Walk, has used it as the basis for their latest project.

Many unique exterior details set this Land Cruiser 300 apart from a regular model. For example, the front apron has been revised and now includes a redesigned radiator grille with a revised bumper and new air inlets.

In typical Liberty Walk style, the tuner bolted on a set of front and rear wheel arch extensions. New side skirts were also fitted and a set of wheels were bolted on, available in 22- and 24-inch versions and costing a set of $11,650 and $14,850 respectively.

The changes made to the rear of the Toyota aren’t quite as dramatic as those at the front. A small lip spoiler extends from the tailgate, while there is also a spoiler on the roof.
Toyota Land Cruiser owners who want to highlight their off-roader with a Liberty Walk kit can order it in either fiberglass or carbon fiber. The cheapest kit available includes the front bumper, rear bumper, exhaust tips and fender flares and costs $7,480 with fiberglass or $10,780 with carbon fiber.
The most comprehensive package includes the front grille, rear wing and rear spoiler, increasing the price to $9,790 or $14,080 depending on the materials chosen. If you want the pre-impregnated carbon fiber hood, you’ll have to spend $19,580 for the complete premium body kit.
