Young is also doing well after the elimination The bachelor, I recently started getting back out there.

“I finally dipped my toe into the dating pool. “It was fun,” enthused Young Us at Gotham Hall in New York City. “OK, I’m 30 and very ready to find the right person. Despite meeting “great” people, Young “wonders [about] “People’s Intentions” given her recent reality TV appearance.

“I used to live a really private life, now everything is so public,” she said. “But I also think it’s a great thing because you have the opportunity to get to know more people.”

After announcing her endometriosis diagnosis, Young is not only stepping up her advocacy but also taking on a new role as an advocate The bachelor.

“I wasn’t even sure [as I was] “Going into the process, I want to be open about my endo, but it felt like the right time,” she said. “And I have made such a difference by sharing my story because many women are afraid to talk about it, especially when dating. And even though I didn’t find myself in this show, for me it was the reason and purpose to keep going, to raise awareness about endometriosis. And so I’m just really grateful.”

At Friday’s Blossom Ball, several people were recognized for speaking openly about their experiences with endometriosis.

“One in 10 women have endometriosis and it takes an average of 10 years to get diagnosed, and I was that person,” Young explained Us. “That was me and that was my story. Thousands upon thousands of women have reached out to me and told me how much my sharing has encouraged them to make a doctor’s appointment – and women do, too [often] believed. When you’re at the doctor, you’re usually disconnected from the medical system.”
