Finally, after months of anticipation, the new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 has been launched in the Indian car market. This all-new fourth-generation Swift has been launched with a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.65 lakh. Recently, a video walkthrough of the black color of this new generation Swift was released online.

Exterior design
At the front, we can see that the new Swift looks spectacular in black. The reason for this is that it now gets a new honeycomb grille that is painted in glossy black. And with this midnight black color, which also has a glossy black color, it adds to the overall appearance of the new Swift.
The India model gets the same design for the grille. And it also gets the same new, slimmer-looking LED headlights with L-shaped LED daytime running lights. However, the lower part of the front bumper is slightly different. In international markets, the Swift is only offered in two variants. Even in side profile, the entire car looks stunning in this black color. The car gets a new shoulder line created by the new hood. This particular model from the international markets features 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. However, the top-of-the-line Indian model Swift comes with 15-inch alloy wheels.
Lower trim levels feature 14-inch steel wheels in black (for VXI and VXI+) and silver (for the base LXI variant). At the rear, the new Swift now features C-shaped LED taillights with clear lenses. This contributes to the premium appearance of the new Swift 2024. Overall, the Swift looks very impressive in this black color and will soon become a popular choice among Indian Swift buyers.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift: Engine and Mileage
For the 2024 model year, the Swift has replaced the naturally aspirated K-series engine with a new Z-series engine. This engine is called Z12E and is a 1.2 liter three-cylinder engine with hybrid support. It produces 81 hp and 112 Nm of torque.
It is offered with a five-speed manual transmission and a five-speed AMT transmission. The new Swift with manual transmission offers a mileage of 24.8 km/h and the AMT Swift offers 24.75 km/h.
