Tesla Quietly Removes All Job Postings in the US

Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.

This is the second time since Tesla has almost completely deleted its job postings began laying off thousands of workers on April 16. More than 20,000 people may have been laid off in this first round of workforce cuts, Bloomberg reported last month. Offers for summer internships have been withdrawn just a few weeks before their start date. Almost the entire supercharger division was canceledalthough Tesla is a major player in the electric vehicle charging industry and its public policy team has been significantly reduced.

Tesla experienced its fourth consecutive week of layoffs on Monday, with the latest round affecting service advisors, human resources staff, product engineers, industrialization engineers and more.

“Last night at 7:24 p.m. Elon Musk added me to his massive layoff team, costing me my career, my health benefits and my sanity,” a now-former Tesla employee wrote on LinkedIn on Monday. “Nothing but an email to make us aware of how available we were as employees.”

At least six high-profile executives have done so either already resigned or plan later this year, including former senior vice president of powertrain and energy Drew Baglinoand Senior Director of Human Resources for North America Allie Arebalo.
