Amruta Khanvilkar portrays the role of Surekha in the series, a cautious, mild-mannered politician. Talking about her character in the series, Amruta shared: “Surekha’s character is powerful and composed. She knows her path and focuses on it. I’ve never portrayed a character like her before. The show is one of the best web series I have ever been a part of. Working on this series felt like returning home to loved ones. I learned that you can turn even the simplest things into something amazing, that’s what I learned on this trip.”
Furthermore, Amruta also shared her experience of working with Zakir Khan on the series. She said, “I was inspired to work on this project because I always wanted to meet Zakir and chat with him when I watched his shows. He’s really humble and I’m not just saying that because everyone else is doing it. Zakir is someone you should meet at least once in your life. I would say: just listen and follow what he has to say about life and art.”
