Suki Waterhouse Announces Tour Two Months After Giving Birth to Baby

Suki Waterhouse is ready to sparkle and shake. The 32-year-old new mother announced Monday that she will be starting the Sparklemuffin Tour in the fall.

In a video posted on social media, Waterhouse, dressed to the nines, sits stoically on the floor. A television positioned behind her head plays a fake documentary-style video about the (very real) peacock spider Sparklemuffin.

“Deep in the rainforest, amid the dense foliage and hidden in the undergrowth, lives a creature that is as captivating as it is mysterious,” explains the narrator. “This is the habitat of the Sparklemuffin spider. The Sparklemuffin spider, scientifically known as Maratus jactatus, is a species of peacock spider known for its stunning appearance and intricate courtship rituals.”

After naming a series of tour stops, we move on to a taste of what you can expect from Waterhouse’s live shows.

“The Sparklemuffin Tour tries to find like-minded arachnids who want to shake the tails of their suitors in a passionate dance of love,” says the narrator, expressionless. “Caution: If the female Sparklemuffin is not impressed with the suitor’s performance, she may be exploited. Enter the Internet at your own risk.”

The announcement comes just months after Waterhouse welcomed her first child, a daughterwith long-standing love Robert Pattinson.

“I don’t know if some of you know, but I’ve had some big changes in my life lately, there’s been some pretty big events,” Waterhouse said at her recent Coachella debut, referencing her and Pattinson’s birth first child to In Video shared on social media. “I love amazing ladies and I was so lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life.”

Shortly before, Waterhouse took to Instagram to share something an update on her postpartum journey. The Daisy Jones and the Six The star shared a series of mirror selfies as she discussed life as a new mother and the changes to her body.

“The fourth trimester was…humiliating,” she shared. “The time after birth was full of exhilarating joy, so much laughter, tears, so many hormones! I am proud of everything my body has accomplished and proud of the kindness and grace I have shown myself during this period of recovery. 💕”

Pattinson and Waterhouse have been together since July 2018. In December a source confirmed to ET that they were engaged.

The source added: “They are incredibly happy and excited about their future together as a couple and family.”

Tickets on sale in advance for Waterhouse’s Sparklemuffin Tour go on sale Wednesday, May 8th at 8 a.m. local time. General sale It starts on Friday, May 10th at 10 a.m. local time. The North American tour supports the singer’s upcoming album, which will feature her new songs “Faded,” “My Fun,” “To Love” and “OMG.” According to a press release, the LP will be released later this year via Sub Pop.
